One of the most rewarding things about being a top bodybuilder is the number of interesting people you get to meet.  I’ve met politicians, Hollywood stars, captains of industry, photographers, and thousands of wonderful people who just share my love of bodybuilding.  One of the nice guys involved in this sport that I consider a friend and one of the best assets to the field of bodybuilding is Wayne Gallasch

Baby Boomer Quick Tips and Facts

New dietary guidelines include smaller servings of lean meats and poultry, the inclusion of whole grain products and additional fruits and vegetables.  But, calorie restriction alone will not keep the public fit.  An active lifestyle, where active is defined as physical activity equivalent to walking more than 3 miles a day at 3 to 4 miles per hour, is recommended by the American Dietetic Association.

American baby boomers over the age of 50 are rapidly becoming entrepreneurs.  5.6 million workers over the age of 50 are self employed, with numbers expected to increase as baby boomers go out on their own.  Corporate layoffs, shifting values, aging Americans, innovative technology and business savvy are contributing factors to this growing number of baby boomer entrepreneurs.

New research on sleep deprivation and obesity reveals changes in metabolic and hormonal functioning.  Little sleep also results in increased awake time, which may be responsible for additional time to eat.
